Change of Command for 2nd Land Force Group

CHANGE OF COMMAND FOR 2ND LAND FORCE GROUP
A Powhiri and formation parade indicated the formal change of command at Linton Army Camp yesterday.
Current commander of the 2nd Land Force Group Colonel Lofty Hayward will be replaced by Colonel Tim Keating.
Col Hayward will now head to the U.K to attend the Joint Services Staff College. Col Keating arrives from Army General Staff Headquarters in Wellington.
The parade marked the end of three years as formation commander for Col Hayward.
