Republicans moving up
It was a very successful first National Retreat for the Republic of New Zealand Party said Chairman Dave Llewell, following the party’s weekend in Taupo.
It was great to meet not only the people of Taupo, but also the many tourists from around the country who were out enjoying the fine weather.
We welcome our Candidate for Tauranga Mr Hans Laven, who we are sure will be up to taking on the infamous Mr Peters unless of course he decides to stand in another electorate rather than face the people of Tauranga again.
This weekend has been the launching pad for next years election, so just keep an eye on our website for developments, and an eye out for our campaign bus which we will take around the country next year.
The public response this weekend has shown me that we are on the right track and now is the time to get involved in the most exciting thing to happen in New Zealand politics.
