Police Seek Missing Husband In Homicide Inquiry
New Zealand Police National News Release
27 December 2006
Police are appealing for public assistance in finding the husband of a 42-year-old Otara woman who was found fatally
stabbed in her bed yesterday morning.
The dead woman's name is Atonauga Seau. She was the mother to five children, three of whom were in the house when the
stabbing occurred.
Police want to speak to the deceased's husband Keleti Seau in relation to the homicide investigation.
Mr Seau was last seen on Christmas night at the Fisher Crescent house he shared with his wife.
He is believed to be driving a 1995 White Toyota Rav 4 with the registration BJP235.
The officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Senior Sergeant Richard Middleton said police believed Mr Seau was
still in the Otara area. "It is likely there are members of the Otara community who are offering support to this man,
and we would like these people to come forward," he said.
