Escaped prisoners apprehended

Incident Type: Escaped prisoners
At approximately 10.45am on Friday 15th December 2006 the two escaped inmates from the court cells at the Te Awamutu District Court were apprehended in Kihikihi.
The offenders Terrence Tahuna MATTHEWS aged 18 years of TE AWAMUTU, and Steven Thomas CROWN aged 19 years of KAWERAU will be facing charges in the Hamilton District Court for escaping custody
