King Of Tonga Tangihanga Live On Maori Television
Maori Television will broadcast live coverage of the tangihanga for King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV in Tonga tomorrow (Tuesday September 19).
TE UHUNGA O KINGI TUPOU IV O TONGA will screen from 11.00 AM until end of proceedings and will include studio guest commentary as well as a live feed from the state funeral. It will also be shown simultaneously on Maori Television’s website www.maoritelevision.com.
Meanwhile, Maori Television's nightly news programme, TE KAEA, is broadcasting live from Tonga tonight (Monday September 18 at 7.30 PM) and tomorrow night (Tuesday September 19 AT 7.30 PM).
Maori Television journalist Jodi Ihaka will also present a half-hour special on weekly current affairs show TE HETERI on Wednesday September 20 at 8.00 PM.
