Grey Power president, Mr Graham Stairmand has, this morning expressed relief that Central Government has announced their intention to set up an inquiry into the rating system.
"Grey Power welcomes this inquiry and hopes they will investigate not only funding, but the expenditure of Local Bodies," says Mr Stairmand. "Many of our members depend on NZ Superannuation as their sole income and so have little ability to meet increased demands upon it."
