Take A Stand Against Child Abuse
On Tuesday 11 July the LynnMall Shopping Centre is hosting a community vigil against child abuse, and we would appreciate your help in getting the word out to all Aucklanders.
As a community hub, the management at LynnMall Shopping Centre is aware that there are many people who do not want to stand helplessly by and who are committed to take some action to help prevent another repeat of the Kahui tragedy.
Alone we can do nothing, but together as a community we can take a stand:
What: LynnMall Shopping Centre Vigil Against Child Abuse
Date: Tuesday 11 July 2006
Time: 7pm - 8pm
Venue: LynnMall Shopping Centre undercover parking
Speakers on the night will include:
The Mayor of Waitakere City - Bob Harvey
Radio Announcer and West Auckland resident - John Tamihere
Entertainer Pio Terei
Chief Executive of Light one Life - Christine Rankin
Police Inspector of West Auckland - Mr O'Conner
There will be a gold coin collection at the LynnMall Shopping Centre Vigil Against Child Abuse and all proceeds will go to the Light One Life Trust to fund ‘speaking out’ against child abuse.
