The Princess Royal arrives in New Zealand
The Prince Royal commenced her visit to New Zealand today, Sunday 9th July, arriving at Auckland International Airport from Fiji.
Princess Anne will visit The Mission to Seafarers, at the Auckland International Seafarers Centre, 114 Quay Street, Auckland, in the afternoon. The Mission is marking its centenary in New Zealand and globally its 150th anniversary. It was founded in 1856 as The Missions to Seamen. The Princess is President of the society, which has chapels and other facilities in 300 ports worldwide.
She will also visit Emirates Team New Zealand Base, 141 Halsey Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland. Later she will attend an Emerging Pacific Leaders' Dialogue Reception hosted by the Governor-General at Government House. The Princess will also have an audience with the Governor-General at Government House. That evening she will attend an Emerging Pacific Leaders' Dialogue Dinner at the Sails Restaurant, West Haven Marina, Auckland.
On Monday 10th July Princess Anne will be at Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, Waipuna Road, Mount Wellington, Auckland, for the Emerging Pacific Leaders' Dialogue Closing Sessions, then back to Auckland for dinner at Mollies Boutique Hotel, Tweed Street, St Mary's Bay, with Save The Children. The Princess has been President of Save The Children since 1970.
On the Tuesday she will again be at Waipuna Hotel, for the Emerging Pacific Leaders' Dialogue Closing Sessions, and then attend the Emerging Pacific Leaders' Dialogue Gala Dinner, at Telstra Clear Pacific Events Centre, Manukau, Auckland.
On Wednesday the Princess, Royal President, Riding for the Disabled Association, will visit Ambury Park Centre for Riding Therapy, Wellesley Road, Mangere Bridge, Auckland. Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, the Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals, will attend a Colonel-in-Chief's Briefing at Langham Hotel, 83 Symonds Street, Auckland. She will then fly to Sydney.
