New Zealand Police National News Release 6 July 2006
Police have grave concerns for the safety and wellbeing of 41 year-old Shona Mary O'Hanlon, who hasn't been seen by family members since late last year.
Miss O'Hanlon is mentally unwell but, as far as can be determined, has not been receiving any medical or mental health care since March this year, at which time she was a resident at the James Liston Hostel, Howe St, Freeman's Bay.
Family members reported her missing to Newmarket Police on June 7, and numerous inquiries carried out by Police since then have been unsuccessful in locating her.
Miss O'Hanlon is Caucasian, 168cm tall, of medium build with short, curly reddish-brown hair.
Anyone who has information about where she is or anyone who has seen her in the past few months, should contact Constable Mark Durant at the Newmarket Combined Investigation Unit, ph 09 529 5663.
