Bosnia & Herzegovina, Myanmar, and Algerian envoys present credentials
Ambassadors from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Myanmar, and Algeria will present credentials to the Governor-General, Dame Silvia Cartwright, at Government House tomorrow (27 June, 11.30 am).
Bosnia & Herzegovina’s new Ambassador is Ms Amira Kapetanovic. Ms Kapetanovic headed her country’s Olympic committees at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996 and the Barcelona Games in 1992. She has previously been posted as Ambassador to Hungary, Slovakia and Austria, and is currently Ambassador to Australia.
U Thet Win is the Ambassador of Myanmar. He has served in the United States of Americas and as Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam. He is currently Myanmar’s Ambassador to Australia.
Mr Kamerzermane Belramoul is the new Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1980 and has served in France and Ukraine, the latter as Ambassador. He is currently Ambassador to Australia.
All reside in Canberra and are cross-accredited to New Zealand.
