Union campaigns focus on Macquarie Bank
This Friday two key union campaigns join forces against the Macquarie Bank.
Macquarie, nicknamed "the millionaires' factory" is one of the largest and fastest-growing investment banks in the world. Aged care workers and cleaners are taking on this global giant to get a fair deal and we need your help.
Striking aged care workers from the Shield Chain of Rest Homes (owned by the Macquarie Bank) and cleaners campaigning for a fair deal for the work they do in Macquarie owned buildings will be protesting outside the Macquarie-owned Hewlett Packard building at 4 Viaduct Harbour, Auckland, this Friday morning between 8am and 9am. They will be demanding safe working conditions and a living wage.
Support the Fair Share for Aged Care and Clean Start campaigners and join us on the picket line this Friday morning!
