Territorial Force Welcomes Private Roy
After successfully completing her Territorial Force basic training in Waiouru Military Camp alongside 50 other soldiers, Private Roy ‘marches out’ in a military parade on Saturday 3 June. The parade starts at 11am.
Private Roy has spent six challenging weeks in Waiouru learning the basics of soldiering. She will join 5th Wellington, West Coast and Taranaki Battalion as a Medic.
There are 2000 Territorial Force members in the New Zealand Army. They belong to six Territorial Force Battalion Groups located throughout the country.
