Update on SSC Investigation Into Disclosure of Classified Information
The State Services Commissioner, Mark Prebble, today announced that the investigation into the release of classified information to Telecom was nearing its conclusion.
Mark Prebble says he envisages being able to release the report next week.
"I would like to thank the various parties, including Telecom, for their swift cooperation with the investigation process.
"I can confirm that I have assessed that there is no continuing risk for the security of government information. I understand employment action has now been initiated in relation to this event.
"I have asked government agencies to refrain from making any comment on this investigation. Any queries should be referred to the State Services Commission," Mark Prebble said.
