Mongolian and Indian envoys present credentials

Mongolian and Indian envoys present credentials.
The Ambassador of Mongolia and the High Commissioner of India present credentials to Governor-General Dame Silvia Cartwright at Government House on Wednesday (26 April, 11.30 am).
Mongolia’s new Ambassador is Mr Galsan Batsukh. Mr Galsan’s previous postings have included China and Canada.
Mr Galsan has a strong background in tourism. He spent many years with the National Tourism Corporation of Mongolia including a spell with Mongolia’s National Tourism Office in Princeton, New Jersey as President, Mongolian Travel USA, Inc.
India’s High Commissioner is Mr Kadakath Pathrose Ernest. Mr Ernest has been posted in South America, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Portugal and Ethiopia. Most recently he has been Joint Secretary with the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
Mr Galsan is cross–accredited to New Zealand from Beijing. Mr Ernest is resident in Wellington.
