Body in suitcase: Breakthrough, Appeal for Info

Police staff investigating the murder of WAN Biao in Auckland on Thursday-Friday last week have today made a significant breakthrough. Three men are assisting Detectives with the inquiry following a visit to an inner city apartment this morning.
Police and Forensic scientists and experts have also conducted forensic tests at an inner city hotel.
Detective Inspector Bernie Hollewand said that Police had this afternoon learned where the suitcase containing the murdered man's body had been thrown into the harbour.
Appeal for Information
Police want to speak to a group of about 4 women who were at the corner of Wellesley and Elliot Streets at about 3.25 am on the Friday morning 14th April 2006 (Good Friday morning) as they could have information useful to the inquiry. They are asked to contact the inquiry on 0800 BESTLAND. Calls can be made in confidence if preferred.
The hotline to the inquiry team is 0800 BESTLAND (0800 237 852). There is facility to transfer callers in a non-English language to an appropriate speaker.
