Police staff investigating the murder of WAN Biao in Auckland on Thursday-Friday last week have to day continued interviewing flatmates and acquaintances of the murdered man.
Detective Inspector Bernie Hollewand said that staff working on the inquiry did not believe the murdered man's home or car held any clues to his fate. They had confirmed that Mr WAN was alive and well up to 8 or 9 pm on Thursday night 13th April and that up to that time he had not reported any concerns to anyone else.
A call from the public has Police investigating a small boat that left the Westhaven marina with two men in it at about 8.30 am on Friday morning 14th April. The boat was of dinghy size. Details are sketchy at the moment as the witness has been cruising in the Gulf this weekend and so has not been available to closely intgerview. Police a keen to hear from those two men to eliminate them from the inquiry.
