A selection of images taken at the Ohakea Open day on Saturday 8 April.
While we had to cancel the flying display due to the predicted weather it did not deter a large crowd of people interested in finding out about the Air Force and also what happens at Ohakea.
Static aircraft such as the Orion, Hercules, and Boeing 757 were available for people to view, and in which to shelter from the occasional shower, provided interest for the enthusiast as well as the dedicated aircraft spotter.
Inside the hangars were trade displays that ranged from Air Security, medical and photography through to aircraft engineering and armament.
Children found that the life rafts make excellent bouncy castles, and the Army's LAVE was a purpose built climbing frame.
