Acting Chief Executive For Ministry For The Environment
The State Services Commissioner, Mark Prebble, announced today that he has asked Sue Powell, General Manager, Working with Local Government, to act as Chief Executive of the Ministry for the Environment.
Sue Powell will take up the acting role on 18 March 2006, following the departure of the current Chief Executive, Barry Carbon.
"Sue Powell is familiar with the work of Ministry for the Environment and the policy agenda that it is managing," Mark Prebble said.
The State Services Commission is currently in a recruitment process for a permanent Chief Executive appointment.
