Rest in peace Rod Donald
The Public Service Association (PSA) today added its tribute to life of Green Party co-leader Rod Donald.
PSA National Secretary Richard Wagstaff said Mr Donald had been a tireless campaigner for worker and human rights and was a strong advocate of quality public services.
“We join with all New Zealanders and express our sorrow at the death of Rod Donald.
“Rod was a consistent and principled voice for progressive politics in New Zealand over many years.
“We appreciated, in particular, the commitment he made to building strong relationships between his Green Party and the trade union movement. We pledge to continue to build that relationship.
“We extend our condolences to his partner and daughters and to his Green Party colleagues in and out of Parliament,” Richard Wagstaff said.
