Duke Of York To Visit Linton Military Camp
His Royal Highness The Duke of York will visit members of the 2nd Logistic Battalion at Linton Military Camp on Thursday, 29 September 2005.
In New Zealand to visit members of the "Duke of York's own" Royal New Zealand Army Logistic Regiment (RNZALR), The Duke of York will spend the day at Linton Military Camp where he will review a parade, view activities and displays, and share a barbeque lunch with the officers and soldiers of the 2nd Logistic Battalion.
During the remainder of his visit, The Duke of York will visit members of the RNZALR in Trentham Military Camp and view an Army exercise in the Nelson region being conducted by the Burnham based 3rd Logistic Battalion.
The Duke of York has held the appointment of Colonel-in-Chief of the RNZALR since its formation in 1996.
