Workers' Ballot on Election Day
Workers Charter will be holding a workers' ballot on election day this Saturday.
At our Supersize My Pay picket outside McDonalds, a low-wage corporation, Workers Charter will be balloting passersby on whether or not they support a minimum wage of $12ph and the abolition of youth rates.
Passersby will be invited to place their voting slips into a large ballot box outside McDonalds, 260 Queen St, midtown Auckland. The picket starts at 12 noon on Saturday.
A Workers Charter petition for 12 bucks and no youth rates will also be launched at the picket.
