Keepleftnz Poll Points to LPG landslide;
OR Everyone Else is Doing Shonky Polls, So Why Can’t We?
The creators of www.keepleftnz.org are kicking the final week off with a bang, launching their own enormously important
election poll.
On the site today there is also a new poll of polls, a new video mocking Don Brash, new blog awards to provide stupid
people with their fifteen minutes, and much more besides.
The KeepLeftNZ / United Nations Very Accura-poll shows that a Labour- Progressive-Green government will command 80 per
cent of the seats in the next parliament. The poll - conducted on Friday night at a Wellington bus stop - surveyed five
reasonably intoxicated people about which party they would most like to see represented in the next parliament.
"The results were surprising and point to the sweeping influence of Keepleftnz," Ringo said. "Everyone we talked to had
seen the site - honestly."
The creators said their findings still stacked up even when compared to a Sunday Star-Times poll conducted the same
night showing a 7 point National lead.
"Ooohh, what a freaking surprise," George said. "The Star-Times called a whole lot of people on a Friday night and only
found National voters at home. Yes, this is conclusive: National voters are stay-at-home losers.

The keepleftnz poll showed three out of five people will vote Labour, one of out of five will vote Green and - if the
angry, drunk man who showed up near the end of the survey is anything to go by - one will vote for National.
On the back of the convincing poll results, Keepleftnz called the election for a Labour-Progressive-Green majority
government.
"We'll win! We'll win," Paul said. "I had some doubts before, but you can't argue with these numbers."
Yoko welcomed any challenge to the validity of the Keepleft poll. "Come on mainstream media", Yoko said. "We may not
have split our sample in half to show a fake surge for the right, but we're convinced this poll is right up there with
the 'scientific' methods they've used."
