ACT on track to win Epsom but we need your help
One News has just released a Colmar Brunton poll showing Rodney Hide has doubled his support and reduced the gap in the race for the Epsom electorate by 26 points.
The poll was conducted this week and asked Epsom voters which candidate they would give their electorate vote to. They responded as follows:
Rodney Hide 30% Richard Worth 44% Stuart Nash 20%
This poll shows the dramatic increase in Rodney's support since a July Herald on Sunday poll which showed Richard Worth on 55% and Rodney on 15%.
The trend in both the public polls and our polling is clear - Rodney is on track to win the seat next Saturday.
This is great news and it means that no Party Vote for ACT will be wasted and ACT's team will be returned to Parliament.
For the past nine years ACT has been a strong, principled voice in Parliament.
ACT is the party that tells like it is: we put tax cuts, Zero Tolerance for Crime, welfare reform, one law for all and a time limit on Treaty settlements on the agenda.
We'll bring more fresh ideas to the next parliament.
This election we have continued to campaign on the issues we believe are important: - A tax cut now! - Zero tolerance for crime - An end to welfare abuse - Health care when you need it
In the last week of the campaign we want to ensure that as many New Zealanders as possible are contacted by ACT and that we put the resources we need into winning Epsom - but it costs money.
We are appealing for donations to help us in this final key week of the campaign. We need your support now.
You can donate today through our secure online server at http://www.act.org.nz/donate.
Thank you in anticipation of your support and please give ACT your Party Vote on September 17th.
Kind regards
