Today ACT launched an exciting new fundraising initiative by launching donated products and political memorabilia on
online auction site Trade Me.
Items on offer include a ride in the amphibious Gibbs Aquada, a week's accommodation in Fiji, autographed t-shirts, book
posters and documents dating back to before the official foundation of the ACT party.
"I'm delighted that we can offer the public the chance to bid online for a piece of New Zealand's political history,"
ACT President Catherine Judd said.
"The web has proven a powerful campaigning tool for ACT, and we believe that moving fundraising beyond online donations
to online auctions will be every bit as successful.
