CTU welcomes tax relief that ‘really delivers’
Workers and their families will get a much-needed boost in income from the enhanced ‘working for families’ package announced today, said CTU president, Ross Wilson.
“This is the sort of relief that really delivers,” he said.
“Lifting wages is the most important issue for workers. However, where there is a case for reasonable tax relief it should be targeted to those who need it most.”
“Unions have called for this for some time now and the announcement is most welcome,” Ross Wilson said.
