MAORI TELEVISION-TNS POLL – TE TAI TOKERAU RESULTS
The Maori Television-TNS Poll of the Te Tai Tokerau electorate has Maori Party candidate Hone Harawira in the lead as most preferred candidate.
Incumbent Dover Samuels (Labour) has 25% of the electorate vote, 28% behind the Mâori Party candidate. Eleven percent of Mâori in Te Tai Tokerau are unsure of who they will vote for.
The Maori Television-TNS Poll of the Te Tai Tokerau electorate has the Labour party and the Maori Party tied on 38% for most preferred party:

The Maori Television-TNS telephone survey was conducted between 4 June and 10 July 2005 by TNS Research Ltd. It is reflective of the views of Mâori in the electorate during this particular period in time.
Maori Television has this week released the full results of the survey on its Te Kaea news programme. Next week Te Kaea will look at the key election issues for Maori, as detailed in the Maori Television-TNS Poll research findings.
