The Council of Christians & Muslims, New Zealand, deplores all sorts of acts of terrorism such as tragically happened in London this week.
The label “Islamic terrorism” or “Christian terrorism” should not be used to indicate the actions by individuals or groups said to be associated with such violence.
One of the results of such inaccurate labelling of terrorist acts leads to bigotry and to irresponsible actions such as the vandalism of Auckland Mosques this week.
