Air Force Buzzes Over Mystery Creek
A formation flypast by the Royal New Zealand Air Force will mark the opening of the Mystery Creek Field Days on Wednesday 15 June.
Rarely seen in such a large formation, nine CT-4 Airtrainers will buzz over Mystery Creek.
The Airtrainers are based at RNZAF Base Ohakea and are used by the Air Force’s elite aerobatics team, the Red Checkers. They are also used to train student pilots.
On the ground an Iroquois Helicopter will be on display, with crewmembers on hand to talk about life in the Air Force.
