Julian Aaron to campaign for Progressive party votes in Helensville
Julian Aaron has been selected to campaign for party votes on behalf of the Progressive Party in Helensville in this year's general election.
"Julian is an outstanding candidate for our party," says deputy leader, Hon. Matt Robson MP"
A successful new settler in New Zealand, he is an extraordinarily articulate advocate for the importance of the regional and industry development work that the Progressive Party has contributed to coalition government policy-making over the past six years," Matt Robson said.
"Julian is campaigning for your party vote so that we can deliver an historic third-term progressive coalition government committed to regional development and committed to turning the tide against youth binge drinking and other youth drug problems".
"Julian also wants your party vote so that Progressive can continue to advocate within government for pro-job policies like a cut to the company tax rate and debt-relief for graduates prepared to use their skills working for New Zealand," Matt Robson said.
The Progressive Party is a partner in the coalition government first elected in 1999. Its leader, Jim Anderton, is the third-ranked Cabinet Minister with responsibility for Economic, Industry and Regional Development, Forestry and for driving the coalition government's campaign against alcohol and other drug abuse.
