PM to Present Wings to Graduating Pilots
Prime Minister Helen Clark will present graduating pilots with their 'Wings' on Thursday 26 May.
The presentation will be made during a graduation parade at RNZAF Base Ohakea.
The four graduating officers, including a Naval officer, have successfully completed fourteen months on the Royal New Zealand Air Force Wings Course. Commanding Office of the Flight Training Wing, Wing Commander Russell Kennedy says the parade marks the graduates right to wear the Pilot's brevet.
"They should be very proud of their achievements and the standards they have reached. Each new pilot can look forward to a rewarding and demanding military flying career," said Wing Commander Kennedy.
