A Pare reflecting the story of the New Zealand Defence Force Command and Staff College will be unveiled at Trentham Military Camp at 10:00am Tuesday 17 May.
Vice Chief of Defence Force, Air Vice-Marshal David Bamfield will unveil the pare, which is located above the college entrance.
Carved from native totara by David Te Hira, the carving incorporates the role of the College as the country’s highest level provider of residential professional military education for officers from New Zealand and other regional countries, the tri-Service nature of the College, and it’s history dating back 54 years.
