Politicians don’t care about murdered prostitutes.
The headline was “dead woman ran local massage parlour”. Another prostitution related murder occurs over the weekend in Auckland. Crime and prostitution have always been and will be closely linked in New Zealand. But the hedonists in our parliament ensured that there would be an increase in misery in New Zealand by legalising prostitution and so enticing more criminals and more foolish women into a spiral which often ends in the death of vulnerable females.
When homosexuals Georgina Beyer and Tim Barnett hugged each other as parliament passed the prostitution bill which legalised soliciting, it was symbolic of another deadly embrace. In the antiseptic surrounds of the debating chamber the mutual congratulations accorded homosexuals, lesbians, feminists and effeminate men was a sinister confirmation that prostitutes pimps and madams would be increasingly subject to criminal assaults and murder - abject misery which extends to family members including dependent children.
Have these politicians who were so jubilant over the legalising of prostitution gone out of their way to help the victims of these vicious crimes? You can guarantee that their consciences are seared and that the misery these politicians have contributed to is of no interest to them. They have moved onto the next project to continue to tear down the moral boundary markers of a previously safe society.
But the responsibility rests not only with the politicians, including many from parties other than those in government. New Zealanders who vote these people in bear equal guilt for the misery caused by this planned legislation for evil.
The Bible says that governments are meant to reward the good and punish the evil (Rom. 13). What this government and those who have elected them are guilty of is creating an environment for the breeding of evil. This year New Zealanders have the opportunity to hold these evil politicians accountable and instead elect a government which will reward the good and turn back the tide of evil that has tsunami-like flooded our society.
