AA 2005 Annual Conference Opens Tomorrow In Hawkes Bay
With Tranpsort Minister Pete Hodgson And National's Leader Don Brash
The AA's Annual Conference starts tomorrow at 9.30am at the War Memorial Conference Centre, Marine Parade, Napier. It is the first time it has been held in the Hawkes Bay region.
Transport Minister Pete Hodgson will address the Conference at approximately 9.45am, where he is expected to expand on the Governments response to the 'Costs and Charges Report' released this afternoon.
Opposition Leader Dr Don Brash will address the Conference at 1pm; he has indicated he will be announcing a major transport initiative.
Other parties will also be represented at a transport forum in the morning session; the focus of the afternoon session will be the AA's national Safer Roads Project.
