Metals talks to resume
Talks in the key Metals agreement will resume in Auckland tomorrow (Wednesday, March 30).
The Metals and Manufacturing Industries Collective Agreement, which covers more than 2000 workers at 220 companies across New Zealand and sets the going rate across the private sector, expired on March 7.
Negotiations between the EPMU and the EMA to renew the Metals broke down on February 24.
No further comment will be available while talks are under way.
