New Zealand Family Rights Protection Party registered
The Electoral Commission resolved on 7 March 2005 to register the New Zealand Family Rights Protection Party, allowing
the party to contest the party vote at a general election. The party’s registered abbreviation is N.Z.F.R.P.P.
Requirements for registration include: providing evidence of having at least 500 current financial members eligible to
enrol as electors; and a statement of intent to contest a general election with a party list, or in at least one
electorate, or both.
No comment was received in response to public notices advising of the application to register the name and abbreviation.
An application to register a logo for the party has been received and may be advertised shortly for public comment.
