Woman charged with burglary of tsunami money
Police have charged a woman with burglary after the taking of money from a Mad Butcher outlet in Orewa that was being donated for tsunami victims.
The woman appeared in the Kaitaia District Court this morning and was granted name suppression by the court so Police cannot provide details about her identity.
She was remanded for a further court appearance yet to be confirmed.
With this matter now before the court Police can make no further statements.
