GPJA - Protest Fallujah killings Friday / Grey Lynn festival help needed Sat / Zaoui Concert Sun
Dear friends,
Picket Us Consulate, Customs St, City, 5pm Friday November 19 GPJA is calling for an emergency protest against the slaughter in Fallujah and to demand an end to the foreign military occupation of Iraq. Day by day the evidence accumulates that the invasion and occupation of Iraq has been a disaster for the Iraqi people. A major survey estimates the increased civilian deaths since the invasion totals 100,000! http://uk.news.yahoo.com/041028/325/f5iu1.html
The puppet government has no legitimacy and the only way forward is for the Iraqi people to determine their own future free of foreign occupation.
GPJA Stall At Grey Lynn Festival, Saturday, November 20 A GPJA stall is being held at the Grey Lynn Festival to promote a major rally on Saturday, December 4 against the continuing detention of Ahmed Zaoui. The rally is being held outside the Mt Eden Remand Prison to mark the second anniversary of Zaoui's detention. At the GPJA stall we will have 2000 posters and 10,000 leaflets to distribute and we will need help throughout the day. Please come along to the GPJA tent in the Eco Zone at the Williamson Ave end of Grey Lynn Park.

This book is a brilliant expose by Scoop Media editor Selwyn Manning of the campaign to discredit Zaoui by Algeria and France and the complicity of New Zealand officials in this as our country has tried to paint itself as a loyal foot soldier in the war on terror. FALLUJAH John Pilger :Iraq: the unthinkable becomes normal - Mainstream media speak as if Fallujah were populated only by foreign "insurgents". Sgt Major Carlton W Kent, the senior enlisted marine in Iraq, told troops that the battle would be no different from Iwo Jima.
