The main aim of the rule will be to improve heavy vehicle stability by limiting load movement.
It is proposed that the rule will incorporate to the main criteria of the Truck Loading Code, providing a legal basis for tighter enforcement of load security requirements. The rule would also put in place performance measures to set the standards for acceptable loading practices.
