Maori Party Selects Candidate For Tamaki Makaurau
The Maori Party Executive has approved the successful nomination put forward by members of the Tamaki Makaurau electorate, for Dr Pita Sharples to contest the seat.
250 members attended the candidate selection hui at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, on Monday 25 October.
Three nominations were received at the hui, with Dr Sharples elected as the successful candidate.
