LTSA expects smooth transition to new transport arrangements
The Land Transport Safety Authority will be working closely with the transport sector review implementation team to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the new transport arrangements.
“There is significant potential in the review decisions for a much stronger, responsive and collaborative approach to our land transport system and the goals of the New Zealand Transport Strategy,” Director of Land Transport Safety David Wright said today.
“There will continue to be a strong focus on the importance of road and rail safety in reducing trauma.
“The LTSA will ensure it is business as usual for the hundreds and thousands of New Zealanders we deal with on a day-to-day basis as the changes are being worked through and implemented,” Mr Wright said.
