Wellington Interfaith Meeting
"Getting to know you" is one of the best ways of breaking down mistrust between different groups in society, or between countries; and "getting to know about your religion" has the same good effect.
"Learning about each other's faiths" is the theme of a meeting organised by the Wellington Interfaith Committee as a follow-up to last year's highly successful National Interfaith Forum.
"Come and see an excellent video on the world's major faiths," says Major Peter Thorp, Interfaith Comittee convenor, "and join in the discussion. Everyone is welcome."
* Learning about each other's faiths, Sunday 27 June 2004, 2-4pm, Committee Room 1, ground floor City Council Building, 101 Wakefield Street.
