VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND BY CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY SECURITY AND PROTECTION DELEGATION
A Security and Protection delegation from the Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) is visiting New Zealand over the period 29 May to 3 June 2004.
The delegation will visit Defence House tomorrow, Tuesday 1 June, to discuss regional security and protection issues with members of the New Zealand Defence Force, Police and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The delegation comprises six PLA officers and is jointly sponsored by the Chinese Embassy and the New Zealand Defence Force.
