What’s On On Radio Waatea
Listen today to Paakiwaha, an exciting weekly current affairs programme with a Maori perspective. Paakiwaha is hosted this week by Willie Jackson and is broadcasted by Radio Waatea with funding from New Zealand on Air.
This week on Paakiwaha, we reflect upon the Foreshores Hikoi that demonstrated the strength of Maori concerns about the Foreshores Bill. During the hikoi, Willie talked to Dr John Mitchell, Dover Samuels, Rod Donald and Mark Solomon. Those discussions are presented together with live interviews with Nanaia Mahuta, Gregory Fortein and Tame Iti.
Our Arts Feature guest this week is multi skilled artist extraordinaire, Don Selwyn. Sports commentator Ken Laban gives his weekly sports roundup and political reporter Duncan Garner tells us his predictions for the week. So tune into yet another lively, thought provoking and debate packed programme!
