The Labour led governments apparent willingness to allow the continued suffering of the sick and injured by failing to make cannabis product easily and immediately available is shocking to say the least.. To arrive at this decision it is apparent that they have ignored the findings of the Health Select Committee.
Mr. Anderton has done nothing to reduce the harm that denial of cannabis to the sick causes. To expect us to wait until some other approved cannabis product is available can only be described as both hypocritical and bad medicine that leads to misery and death.
In short Mr. Anderton and the Labour party seem content to allow cannabis to be supplied to children via gang driven tinnie houses whilst the sick go without daily supply due to the inflated price of the black market. Perhaps Mr. Anderton would care to explain why he supports such a regime to the vast majority of New Zealanders who will be harmed by his approach.
