English's Ship Sinking

grabbing about foreign affairs or the military. I confidently predict that the next time Don Brash blathers about
sending beneficiaries to work in pin factories, English will propose a joint US/New Zealand invasion of Tonga", says
Young Labour President Michael Wood, in response to Bill English's proposal to invite a potentially nuclear powered US
warship into New Zealand waters.
"What a clunker. Labour established New Zealand's nuclear-free policy in the mid 1980s, and under Jim Bolger, even
National came to see political, if not moral reasons for supporting that stance", continues International Secretary
Anselm Williams.
"Today the nuclear-free policy enjoys widespread support from New Zealanders, and that is reason enough to keep vessels
that may be nuclear propelled out of our waters. We are a sovereign country that can take some pride in speaking up for
a nuclear free world", says Wood.
"Young Labour and young New Zealanders generally continue to support the government's nuclear free position. We're
confident that Mr. English's stupid and obsequious idea will sink without a trace like the fortunes of the Party he
supposedly leads", continues Williams.
