Bludgers and Thieves Make the Rich List
Libertarianz released a slightly different rich list today; unlike the NBR Rich List in which each penny of each listee has usually been earned freely - Donna Hall is one notable exception to this, however - this list is of the five highest earning parasites in parliament and the public service. "This list is in memory," says Libertarianz spokesman Russell Watkins, "of Ian Mutton - hounded to death in pursuit of the money to feed these parasites and many more just like them who live off the blood money ripped from tax victims. Tax is theft, and these nine are the biggest recipients of that theft."
1=
Mark Prebble - Head of PM's office; David Butler - Head Thief, IRD.
$370,000 - $379,000. Income stream - Tax victims.
2=
Howard Fancy - Secretary for Education; Karen Poutasi - Director General of Health.
$350,000 - $359,000. Income stream - Tax victims 3=
John Whitehead - Secretary to The Treasury; Geoff Dangerfield - CEO Ministry of Economic Development; Belinda Clark - Secretary for Justice.
$340,000 - 349,999. Income stream - Tax victims.
4=
Simon Murdoch - Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Peter Hughes - Chief Executive, Ministry of Social Development.
$320,000 - $329,999. Income stream - Tax victim.
Commenting on the list, Watkins says that he had "previously thought the highest paid beneficiary in the country to be the Prime Minister. Seems I was wrong - dead wrong. Needless to say," he concludes, "all could expect the 'DCM' under Libertarianz!"
