Futile Antarctica Concerned at US Translation - er, Tranvestism?
Sitting on an egg near the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, Tripitaka Adelie-Penguin, Futile Antarctica MP for the Ross Dependency, observed:
"I'm afraid that certain untoward results of the US invasion and occupation of Iraq have made themselves felt over time. Futile Antarctica has evidence that something odd has been happening in terms of translation. For example, when the US occupation forces tried to mobilise opinion against Saddam Hussein, it came out (in a manner of speaking) like this..."
"Saddam!!! Saddam!!!
He wears women's clothing!!!
Saddam!!! Saddam!!!
Suspenders and a bra!!!
Saddam!!! Saddam!!!
Now he's gone transvestite!!!
Saddam!!! Saddam!!!
He's a drag queen now!!!"
"No wonder Iraqi... passions... are inflamed...I know that the duhhh-bya administration thinks that Saddam was a 'drag' on Iraqi society, but this is going too far!"
