"Nick Smith is a hard-working MP who has always stood up for his constituents.
"Young Nationals are disappointed by the Solicitor-General's decision, but strongly support Nick Smith's move to fight
the charge.
"Like Dr Smith, we are determined to see the secretive Family Court is opened up for public scrutiny.
"The issues of family are too important for our young people for them to be hidden away behind closed doors.
"Nick is a former office-holder in Young Nationals and we stand by him 100%," Jamie Simpson says.
