TMP Developments
1. Audit New Zealand, commenced today, its in depth review of the systems, policies and procedures surrounding the allocating and monitoring of TMP contracts (as part of it annual review of TMP). TMP Board Chairman Wira Gardiner said that the Board expected a report by mid-July and would be able to consider those findings at the same time as the outcome of Mr Moeke's performance review, to determine the best set of arrangements for TMP's future.
2. The TMP Board today gave financial delegations to TMP's Manager Finance and Planning, Tom Hood, to allow operations requiring financial authority to continue during the period of Mr Moeke's leave.
Mr Hood is supported by Herewini Te Koha, who was appointed last week primarily to manage the investigation into the Slightly Offbeat Productions matter (including the extended review of TMP's CE's performance), to provide expert assistance in handling TMP's Parliamentary Questions and to be generally available to support and assist TMP staff during the CE's leave.
3. On June 18, Wira Gardiner was appointed for a 12-month term starting on 1 July and ending on the 30 June 2003.
