Cutting The Runway Ribbon
The Minister of Defence and Chief of Air Force will officially open the Ohakea runway upgrade Monday 16 June.
The Air Force's new Boeing 757 will christen the runway with a touch-and-go manoeuvre prior to landing. The opening will
include brief addresses from the Minister of Defence, Hon Mark Burton and the Chief of Air Force, Air Vice-Marshall John
Hamilton.
